BOOKING POLICIES

CHECK IN

  • To collect the keys to your holiday home information will be provided after booking including key lockbox location and code.
  • Check in is available from 2pm.
  • If possible, please provide an estimated time of arrival and a New Zealand contact phone number when you make your booking.

check out

  • Please ensure you check out before 10am on the day of your departure. This will give us time to clean the property before the next arrival.
  • Please return the key to the lockbox and spin the code pad.

payment

  • All booking payments are via Booking.com or AirBNB.
  • Credit card transactions fees & booking fees are additional on-top of our set rates.

one night stay surcharge

  • Please note that we allow 1 night stays during non-peak periods but this does incur a small surcharge fee of $80. 

additional charges

  • You may incur a cleaning fee of $50 - $100 if the home is left in an excessively untidy state. This includes evidence of pets.
  • If there is evidence of smoking in the house you will be charged an additional night's stay.
  • Any property damage caused through carelessness or negligence will be charged the cost of repair or replacement back to your credit card. Please report any damage or breakages immediately.

late arrivals and
additional guest numbers

  • Please inform us of additional guests prior to check in (including all children). We will amend your tariff accordingly.

Please note: Should you fail to inform us of additional guests you will receive a penalty charge of 200% of the additional guest rate ($35nzd pp). We also reserve the right to terminate your booking without refund.


cleaning

  • Cleaning and linen is provided for all bookings. We do however ask that before you leave the property you wash, dry and put away your dishes leaving the kitchen tidy (or load and start the dishwasher if installed).
  • Instructions can be found in each house on how to separate your rubbish and recycling and where the bins are located. These instructions are expected to be adhered to.

changes to your booking

  • Changes to your booking can be made up to 7 days before your arrival with no charge.
  • Changes made within 14 days of your booking will be charged the equivalent of an extra nights stay

cancellation

  • Cancellations made more than 14 days before your arrival will not incur a cancellation fee.
  • If cancelled less than 14 days before your arrival will be charged in full for your stay.
  • In the event of a no-show, you will be charged in full for the stay.
  • During a multiple-day booking should you decide to shorten your stay after you have checked in please be advised that you will not be refunded for the remaining days.

pets

  • Please contact us before hand to see if there is a no pets policy at the property where you are staying.

Parties, excessive noise, disruptive behavior

  • Please be respectful and take the noise/music inside at 10.30pm as there are full time residential areas surrounding all of our properties.
  • Gatherings, parties and functions may not be held without prior permission from Alpineco Holiday Let.
  • Excessive noise, disruptive behaviour or anything unlawful will be dealt with promptly and may result in you being asked to leave the house immediately or the local authorities being called.
